What’s the best part of your job? Definitely meeting so many different people and being part of an amazing team that feel like family!

What are your interests, any hobbies, interests or mad obsessions? When I’m not at work I’m spending most of my days with my beautiful kids but when I get 5 minutes to myself I like to online shop, read a good book and going for walks.

Do you have any local customers you know by name? Sure do! We have so many lovely regulars who I now know on a first name basis just from them coming back so many times, lots of customers who have gone from strangers to even friends! Singleton is such a tight community and it pays off to be a helping hand.

What is the funniest or most unusual request by a customer? We have a stuffed orange cat that came as a promotion with one of our sunglasses stand. Known to everyone as ‘Garfield’ but to us his name is Gerald. We constantly get asked if he is for sale as he sits up on our counter. Unfortunately not for sale but lots of kids enjoy giving him a cuddle.

What do you think makes Singleton Square a great place to shop? Definitely the friendly staff at each shop you go into, being a small town it gives you an opportunity to prioritise customer service and go above and beyond for each person. Not only that you get to know familiar faces.
